07/07/10 at 17:24In 2009 the Goodyear Angel at Maple Leaf Cemetery was possibly going to be taken down for safety reasons. Notice the tipped position on it. Almost everyone thought it would tip in the next wind storm. Thanks to the generosity of Smyth's Monuments it has been straightened and once again faces a long and beautiful life. Such stones are VERY unusual, and we are so very glad that her immediate future is guaranteed once again! |
