OML ~ Maus.Pencil marks in a photograph of a crypt in a building.
These marks were made by construction people
around and even over a hundred years ago
yet are so well preserved today. They probably

Photo of a similar crypt in another building of the era. Photo shows the second "Venting System" to
allow gasses and noxious fumes to escape to the vents above the building. Otherwise pressures can build up
and the crypts have been known to actually
explode causing injuries to people
and destruction of remains. Apr 24, 2014

A Photograph of a similar crypt in another building
of the era. Close Up of "Body Liquids Drain".
We cannot of course file photographs of unused
crypts in Chatham, but this photograph shows the
almost certain construction of the building itself .
For further information see information on the building on our main web site.Apr 24, 2014
