used to help straighten this
large stone and set in place.
* this stone is now set
and stabilized...with hopefully no
more problems to come.

back in place on it's new bed
of crushed gravel, the fellas
take a break.

the tablet in place.

**this stone had to be lifted slightly
higher as the large hole it came out
of had to be packed full with crushed
gravel to make a more stable base
for it to sit in. Hopefully this will stop
it from sinking for many years.
**the soil stuck to the stone will be
allowed to dry naturally and will
be dry brushed away after a few days.

**this tall tablet with the baseattached
had sunk very deep into
the soil along the bank of the creek.
**with much digging and the help of
a lift, it was slowly raised.
**you can see by the mud line, how
deep it had settle

levelled and is standing
firmly in a gravel bed

*the base has been positioned
so the stone stands in alignment.
*was originally tipped forward a
few degrees and twisted sideways
on a slight angle.
*a little more earth to be removed
and the base will be ready to level
out with crushed gravel
