*this is a stone that was found
deep down in the soil, lost for
many years and was located
by the use of Dave Snobelen's
equipment.

prodding rod, knife, hand trowels,
pruners to cut roots and a pail,

*these old tablets, marking
the graves of ancestors of
the community, are now up
and standing, to preserve
them for many more years.

* two project volunteers,
Tom Millard & Peggy O'Rourke are
working to clear and then fill the areas
under and around the grave markers,
**1 1/2 wheelbarrows of grass and soil were
removed from the completed site to
prepare for final packing and leveling
with crushed gravel screenings

**took abt., 1/2 hour to complete
*restored to a proper position
on a bed of gravel screenings,
will hopefully keep this excellent
stone in a preserved setting for
years to come.
*shows that a bit of labor can
really keep our grave stones and
the cemetery in better repairs.
