The Owen Community Cemetery

The land for the Owen Cemetery was donated by the Great Great Grandfather of Dennis Owen who is now a board member of the cemetery.

The cemetery was on the same site as a Methodist Church that burned in about 1873. It was a church initially served by the saddle bag circuit rider preachers of that early era. That Church was re-erected at a different spot and is now the Baldoon Church. The Owen Cemetery is still an active community cemetery.
