Some History of The St Charles Cemetery

The all modern St Charles Cemetery

St Charles Cemetery started along with the Church in 1955. After the closure of that Church the Mennonites took it over. They were going to begin their own cemetery but when they found the cost to doing that under the modern cemetery rules it was decided to ask permission to bury their people in the existing Catholic Cemetery. To date only one burial has been done for that congregation.
