Some History of The St Peter's Cemetery

Cemetery started in 1802. It is believed that the cemetery was never owned by anyone else. It was first used by Europeans as a Cemetery.
One of oldest of Diocese of London.
Church dates to 1809.
It is known that some fairly extensive plots in the cemetery were lost to river erosion in the distant past. A new diking system is preventing that happening again.
