Locations of the Known Cemeteries in Chatham-Kent by Township

Please note that in many cases here it is not easy to indicate if cemeteries are still in use or closed as many might have only one burial in 10 years or more. Thus NO attempt is made to do that!

NOTE! GPS locations are in degrees and decimals of degrees. If you enter them into a unit calibrated for degrees, minutes, and seconds, you will go to a totally incorrect location! For instance a location of 42 degrees 35 minutes and 310 seconds N by 82 degrees 10 minutes and 77.2 seconds W is actually 42.5885 N by 82.17953 W on the decimal scale. In order to avoid East and West, you can actually use the latter as 42.5885 -82.17953 on Google Maps. If you use the incorrect format on your GPS you will land up half way to Lake Erie from Chatham instead of the correct location in Dresden, or else you may land up in Sarnia on 402 near the river bridge.
